Question: Why is NVIDIA providing a board-level solution?
Answer: We are selling boards vertically in workstations because the volumes are low and customers want to buy a complete solution. Unlike in the PC market, workstation customers are typically using the machine for a specific, complicated application. This model allows us to get closer to that end-user customer. We have no plans to change our business model in any of our other markets. |
